Our B&B in Mere is a one minute drive South of the A303 mid way between London and Cornwall, and a five minute drive from the National Trust's house and gardens at Stourhead.

Much of the area to the North of the village has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the centre of Mere, including Castle Street, is classified as a Conservation area. Castleton House is in the perfect location to visit much of stunning South West England, such as Shaftesbury, Warminster, Wincanton, Gillingham, Stourhead, Longleat, Stonehenge and much more
